FFSD is dedicated to community outreach, providing social welfare and support to struggling individuals and communities. In March 2023, FFSD awarded research grants to lecturers in Nigerian universities, showcasing their commitment to promoting academic excellence and contributing to Nigeria’s education sector.
In late 2022, FFSD conducted community outreach to Hope for All homes, Little Saint, Mother Louisa Special Kids, and Guardian Angel Motherless Home. They donated essential items, such as food, clothing, and medications, to community members. Additionally, FFSD covered the school fees of students in Enugu and secured hospital bills for patients at Ebonyi Teaching Hospital and St. Patrick Hospital.
In 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FFSD visited six orphanages in Lagos and Enugu. They provided wheelchairs to patients and discharged those unable to afford their hospital bills. FFSD recognizes the value and impact of community service, believing it can bring about positive change.
Community support is a core value at FFSD, showcased through their annual event to support the less privileged. In 2017, FFSD donated a fully equipped laboratory to Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (AEFUTHA).
